Licence Condition
The licensee must undertake an assessment to identify possible treatment options to resolve high NOx emissions from MMF NOx scrubber 132, identified as EPL monitoring point 69 of the licence.
The licensee must prepare and submit a report to the Regional Manager, Riverina Far West at riverina.farwest@epa.nsw.gov.au that outlines the findings of the assessment, as required by U5.1 and details any proposed actions to be taken as a result of the assessment. The report is to be submitted to the EPA by 31 October 2019 for approval.
The licensee must design and install appropriate infrastructure associated with the proposed solution to resolving high NOx emissions from MMF NOx scrubber 132. The works must be consistent with those proposed in the report submitted to the EPA as a requirement of condition U5.2. The design and installation of the works are required to be completed by no later than 30 May 2020. Note: once works to fulfil the requirements of condition U5.3 are complete, a concentration limit of 350 milligrams per cubic metre for Nitrogen Oxides will be added to the licence for monitoring point 69.
